This is one of the most common things I hear from couples during our first conversation: “We love candid, authentic photos… but we’re a little awkward in front of the camera.”
The truth? That’s completely normal — and it’s exactly where I come in.
My approach is rooted in helping you feel at ease, present, and truly yourselves. I gently guide you through the experience so that nothing feels forced. The result? Honest, emotive imagery that feels natural — never stiff, never staged. Those effortless, in-between moments I’m known for? They come from comfort, trust, and the space to simply be who you are together.
If you’re willing to trust me, be present, and let your guard down just a little — I promise, we’ll create something beautiful that reflects your love exactly as it is.
My work is rooted in documenting moments that feel real — the kind you can’t script, the kind that stay with you. I approach each wedding with a deep sense of intention, focusing not just on how it looked, but how it felt.
I gently guide my couples into beautiful light and create space for them to simply be — to relax, let go, and enjoy. From there, I document what naturally unfolds. While I’m always happy to offer direction or prompts when needed, more often than not, couples are so immersed in the moment that they forget the camera is even there.
It’s in those unplanned, emotion-filled moments — the laughter, the stillness, the quiet touches — that the real story lives. My goal is to preserve those feelings in a way that allows you to return to them, effortlessly, even decades from now.
One of the most common questions I’m asked is, “What does a typical wedding day with you look like?” The truth is — there’s no such thing.
While most celebrations follow a similar rhythm, every couple is different, and every wedding day carries its own energy. I approach each one with fresh eyes and an open heart, never on autopilot. Your story deserves to be seen for what it truly is — uniquely yours.
Throughout the day, I move fluidly between being an observer and a participant. At times, I’ll blend into the background, quietly documenting tender, in-between moments. Other times, I’ll step in with gentle guidance to draw out natural joy, ease nerves, or simply help you stay grounded in the moment. However the day unfolds, I’m there to reflect it with honesty, artistry, and care.
I’m based in Tempe, Arizona, and also spend part of my time in Orange County, California — which means minimal travel fees for weddings and sessions throughout Southern California. I’m always passport-ready and available worldwide, wherever your story leads.
ABSOLUTELY! I travel often — nearly 40% of the weddings I document take me across the country and around the world. Whether your story unfolds on the cliffs of Greece, the rolling hills of Tuscany, or somewhere quietly tucked away that feels like home, I’ll be there — bags packed and heart fully present.
Definitely. Film is a medium I deeply appreciate and always recommend. Let me know it's something you want more information on when you inquire. We can chat more about add-ons during our call!
